Audience feedback, Results.

The Following is the feedback we got from our online questionnaire.

As you can tell by the survey we got roughly an even amount of Male and Female viewers, this was to see if there would be a split of opinion based on gender.

The majority of those who watched our film were aged 15-24, This is the same age range we initially thought our film would appeal to in our audience profile post. Only 3 out of the ten were over twenty four and non were over the age of 45.

90% of those who completed the survey enjoyed our film, with nobody disliking it and only one person found it to be alright (Average), this was found to be a viewer outside the 15-24 age bracket.

Everyone who completed the survey found it evident that the film was of horror genre, this is good as it shows that we have successfully used the conventions we have researched and implemented them well into out own production.

As well as this, 100% of those who did the survey found the abandoned hospital setting to be a suitable setting for our genre.

The majority (70%) of our audience could relate to David, The main character, which is good as this shows we created this character well and used cinematography such as point of view shots to emphasize compatibility with this character.

This section is interesting, although some people believed nothing needed to be changed about our sequence. There were numerous people who believed we should have utilised the use of "Zombie" characters in order to make our film better. There was also a comment on making the lighting darker in order for it to be more scary. Finally, there was a criticism about the amount of point of view shots, which is understandable as it isn't a common thing seen in films of this genre.

In conclusion this feedback allows us to pinpoint where we could have improved with our film and it gives us advice and guidance for if we ever decide to create another film similar to this one.
